My sister is funny. Really funny...
Elle tries to talk, but between you and I, no one understands what she is saying ...except me. (After all, I get an earful from her every single day.) Not that I mind, but I know her jargon, and sometimes it just plain cracks me up.
Anyway, so there we are, Christmas morning, chatting it up about our gifts and out of the clear blue, Elle proceeds to show me "tracks" in the lawn via our front window. Then she starts pointing and saying "Owie, Owie" ...which translated of course means H-OW-I-E...
Howie??????? Poor Elle. She really, really thought Howie made those tracks in our lawn. I need to teach her Reindeer 101 I guess. Hahahahah!
Howie the red nosed puggle
Had a very whiny bark
And if you ever named him
You could even call him mark.

Owen K!
It is so great that you are showing Elle the way and teaching her all that you know in your wise (almost 5) years of age!
And if that first picture isn't the most endearing picture I've ever seen, well I don't know what...
I'm not sure exactly what Elle said to you in that bottom picture, but it must have been hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CuteCuteCuteCute.
Love you guys!

Mommy: Although Howie is a good ole' boy, he just isn't sleigh material. If his nose was red more than likely he got into the hot sauce again.

I agree with Owen--Elle is one of the funniest babies that I have ever seen. Her delivery is unbelievable.
Sing to the tune of When Irish Eyes are smiling..
When Bentley's kids eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Gaines.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When the Bentley kids' hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when the Bentley kids' eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away
I think that this song was written expecially for the Bentley family

Zia: (Sing to the tune of "When Your Smiling")
When we're smiling
Zia's smiling...
And, LeeLee's smiling, too
When we're laughing
We keep them laughing...
Cuz that's just what we do...
And when we're yelping
They join in on the fun...
They're always helping
Us pull a fast one...
So we'll keep smiling
And laughs keep piling
When they visit, yup that's true!
